The Basics

• Provide a personal student coach to aid student in navigating the college admissions process
  • Conduct multiple consultations that include guiding student through the admissions process
  • Available to the student and parents to answer questions by phone and e-mail
• Provide the student with an on-line career assessment
  • Analyze the assessment results
  • Conduct a student consultation to review results and identify college search criteria
• Conduct a thorough college search
  • Provide itemized list of colleges
  • Conduct a college search that includes customized information about the colleges to identify top college application choices
  • Provide statistics and details on the colleges
  • Create a customized Best College Profile
  • Create an analysis tool to evaluate top six (6) to ten (10) application colleges in priority order
• Help the student get organized for admissions
  • Provide an organizational student packet that includes: organizational folder, timelines, and other guidance materials
  • Create a customized student action plan
  • Conduct a review of critical timelines for completion
• Design student resume that includes a personal profile
• Provide guidance and tools for admission outcomes
  • Provide tools to design the application essay
  • Provide feedback on portfolio design (art/architecture students)
  • Provide feedback on completed applications
• Complete all college financial forms
  • Register for the Financial Aid Profile (CSS/Profile)
  • Complete the Financial Aid Profile
  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  • Complete other institutional forms
  • Confirm the accuracy of the Student Aid Report (SAR)
  • Make adjustments to the SAR report if necessary
• Provide six (6) parent newsletters per year
  • Includes time line for parents
  • Updates parents on “what” is happening “when”

The Basics PRO

This comprehensive package includes everything in The Basics service; however, we include extra value for our families in this package which includes the ACT or SAT prompter and appeals coaching. The Basics Pro service includes the following:

• The Basics Service
• ACT or SAT Prompter
• On Line ACT or SAT preparation tool that provides unlimited use for one year
• ACT or SAT testing and strategies to prepare your student for success on the ACT test
• Coach on Appeals for Financial Aid Packages
  • Review all financial aid offers
  • Design letters for the family to send and sign to negotiate packages
  • Provide an appeals script for families to negotiate with financial aid officers
  • Work for our families to help them obtain the best offer

All Inclusive

This comprehensive package includes everything in The Basics Pro service; however, we include extra value for our families in this package by providing ACT class and an enhanced college search tool.

The All Inclusive service includes the following:

• The Basics Pro Services
• ACT Class
  • Mathematics, Science, Reading, English and Writing
  • Test taking strategies & content
• 16 hours of ACT instruction & 8 hours of testing
  • Practice Tests
  • Materials: books, binder, and practice tests
  • Register you for ACT test
  • Accommodate early viewing of scores
• Enhanced college search tool
  • Customized college book that contains more specific details on the college than the global college search
  • Customized college book consisting of the top 10 to 15 college

All Inclusive PRO

This elite All Inclusive Pro service includes everything in the All Inclusive service; however, we include extra value for our families in this package by providing the scholarship search.  The Elite All Inclusive Pro service includes the following:

• Provide a Scholarship Book
  • Provide National Scholarship Information
  • Provide State Scholarship Information
  • Provide college specific scholarship information
  • Provide scholarship time line regarding due dates

(please note that the scholarship search is a search to identify scholarships applicable to your students profile – this is not a service that “gets/attains” actual scholarship dollars) – will edit scholarship essays (up to 3) for additional.
