College Planning of Louisiana, Inc. offers college planning Lunch and Learns and ACT preparatory classes that are especially geared toward sophomores, juniors and seniors in high school.

Lunch and Learn

The Lunch and Learn opportunities teach parents and students how to know which college to target for application, what colleges want… and there’s more…how the aid system works, increasing the student’s chances of getting into their dream college, using time to your advantage, planning to meet deadlines and much more valuable information.  Come into our office and grab a quick box lunch and learn for 15 to 30 minutes. (See Schedule Here)

ACT Preparatory Classes

The ACT Preparatory Classes are designed for those students that want to increase their ACT Test score by 3 to 5 points.  College Planning of Louisiana, Inc. has custom designed our ACT preparation classes into a formula of proven success. 

1. Our ACT Class is a comprehensive approach to getting you the score you want.  Our class is broken down into the following sections:
• Getting Ready, Mental and Physical Preparation
• How to deal with test anxiety
• ACT English (content, types of questions, & strategies)
• ACT Mathematics (content, types of questions, & strategies)
• ACT Reading (content, types of questions, & strategies)
• ACT Science (content, types of questions, & strategies)
• ACT Writing (content, types of questions, & strategies)
• ACT Practice tests and review session
2. Materials will include:  book of ACT practice tests, The Real ACT prep guide, additional practice tests and a binder with valuable information.
3. Students will be registered for the ACT Test by College Planning of Louisiana and will be provided with early score viewing communication.
4. ACT Classes will be held on Saturday’s OR Sunday’s for 6 consecutive weeks in addition to a practice test the weekend before the exam.  Attached is a schedule for class dates and times.
